T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

Show off your creativity and help represent Biomedical Research Awareness Day (BRAD) around the world! We invite students, scientists, artists, and supporters of biomedical research to submit an original T-shirt design that captures the spirit of BRAD and its mission to advance understanding of the essential role of animals in biomedical research. The winning design will be featured on the official 2027 BRAD T-shirt and worn by supporters across the globe.

By submitting a design, you grant BRAD the right to use your artwork on any future products, including but not limited to the official BRAD T-shirt. Designs that do not meet the required specifications may be disqualified.

Design Submission Criteria

The t-shirt will be a blue cotton pocket t-shirt featuring a white design. The shirt will have a left chest pocket, and your design should be created for the back only fitting within an 11x11-inch design area.
Submit your artwork as a single-color black vector design on a transparent background (the black artwork will be printed in white on the final T-shirt). Designs must be provided in AI, EPS, or SVG format, along with a PDF preview for voting.
Hand-drawn concepts are welcome, but the final submission must be professionally converted into a vector graphic before submission. Raster images alone (JPG, PNG, scans, or photos of drawings) will not be accepted.
The design must incorporate the following:
